What our trip isn't....

As there are still three days left before we depart from O'Hare Airport in Chicago, I am using some of the time to practice making my posts.  Here is NOT the airplane we will be using.  It was on display at a Danish museum during our trip to Finland and Denmark last May.  I'm hoping our plane will have much more move around room and luggage space.







         

We thought we would like a stylish car as we travel around England - something like this Ferrari.  However, that might be a bit crowded for four people with lots of luggage, so we opted for a small van instead.









                                                                              This WONT be our housing in England either.  Due to the Olympics. all of the castles had been already rented.  Instead, we will be housed in Benny's B & B which we are sure will be quite nice too.  We feel lucky to have found it because many places had already been filled or they have already raised their rates.  Benny's rates will double on the 27th, the day that the Olympics actually begin.  We will be staying there the night of the 25th of July.
    The castle shown is actually Egeskov Castle in Denmark.

                                                                                   This looks like an English garden - and it is - but  it is actually located in Denmark near the castle.  We wish we had more space to expand our own back yard - or rear garden as the English say.






I'm still learning how to post pictures and align the descriptions, so bear with me.  I'll try to be more interesting once we arrive "over there".
