Last minute prep...

We are getting ready to leave our home tomorrow and head for Chicago.  There are a few items to
work out first.  I will need to mow the yard one last time..  My bag is packed, and Sharon is making good progress on hers.  Last minute choices of items to take makes for difficult decisions.  We always wind up taking something we don't really need and wondering how we could have been so foolish to forget something else.  Of course, a long ocean cruise is something we have no experience with.

My afternoon nap is interrupted today, however, because the card reader which transfers pictures from Sharon's camera to our computer doesn't seem to be working.  Without that device, I can't post new pictures to our blog.  I'll have to buy another tomorrow if this won't work.  All of the pictures I've posted so far have come from our
treasure trove of previous pictures.   Just when I thought I had everything figured out!

Sharon is relaxing by reading since she now has her bag packed.  We will be taking our Kindles along for more compact reading.  We are also taking playing cards and Mexican train dominos
along.  Since we will have our friends Jim and Cheryl Carlton with us on the trip, we should have opportunities to play games when aren't eating, attending programs, or going to those dressy balls.  
          We will be traveling to Chicago tomorrow afternoon and spending the night with Sarah.  The waiting is almost over and we are READY TO GO!
